That does not apply to us because we have no true point guards on the team. I wish we had 2 true point guards on the team now.

And Jank alluded to that when he said he's never had a team like this (with a bunch of big guards). He's always had a "little guy/true PG) so these guys are still trying to find themselves

I was alluding the comments Jank made before the season about multiple players playing point, and relating it to the old perspective that a team with multiple QBs doesn't have any QB.

Go Mustangs! We need to build some momentum and win some games. We have the talent to win every game this season. Unfortunately we dearly miss #11 Sir Nic. By no stretch of the imagination is Shake a PG. Shake is a quality two guard that always plays under control, but as of right now has not shown the ability to run the offense and get guys involved. Honestly I do not have the answer at PG. Hopefully someone will step up. Wilson, McDowell, Shake, Sterling whoever. I recognize that we have to play PG by committee this season. Cannot wait till next season when we will once again have a true PG.

Sterling Brown is our best player hands down. Sterling needs to really step up his game and lead this team. He is a Senior. It is time. He has all the talent in the world. Can hit the three. Can hit the mid range jumper. Plays solid D. Can hit his free throws. Has handles. Can take the ball up the court. Can even get his teammates involved on the offensive end. We need you Sterling.

As much as I like and respect Ben Moore. He has no business taking the ball up the court, even when we are faced with full-court pressure. Yes Ben has handles for a big, but sometimes he plays a little out of control and dribbles too much. Ben needs to work on his low post game and allow are guard-heavy lineup figure out how to beat the press.

Harry Frolling is slowly making progress. No one said that the transition to D1 College Basketball was going to be easy. Congrats man. Hopefully Coach Jank will go back to playing a high post offense today. A few games ago Coach Jank was successful running the offense through either Frolling or Ben Moore at the high post. I recognize that styles and matchup matter, but not knowing much about Delaware State or how they play hopefully we can start defining an identity on the offensive end of the floor.

Ben E. stop shooting the ball! I have been rooting for I think 3 years. You have a lot of talent, no doubt, but playing 20 feet from the basket is not your game. You cannot hit the three. Please play down low or work on your mid-range game. Take the ball to the basket. You were very successful at Virginia Tech. The way that Ben E. is playing this year, confidence issues or whatever, who knows? ...I would much rather see DeShawn McDowell get his minutes. At least DeShawn can play defense and stay active on the offensive end of the floor.

You might be right about Gu laying off the 3 pointers. His shooting percentages have been really bad and he shoots more threes per minutes played than anyone on this team, hitting less than 14% so far this year, and yet he's one of our better FT shooters so go figure. Gu does a lot of other things to earn his minutes...especially playing D where his steals and rebounds per minute are as strong as anyone on this team. I'm still pulling for him to come around and hoping it takes just one good night to get more confidence offensively. Everyone is wanting his minutes to go to the other Frosh but they have deficiencies as well. So far, every trip to the FT line for Dashawn, Harry and Jarrey has been an adventure! Haven't seen enough of Wilson to have any opinion about his game

The old prospective of a team with multiple QB's does not apply to this either because we don't have any QB's. This is more like having a DB, WR and an RB trying to play QB. We have multiple players playing out of position trying to play QB (PG).

SMU (5-3) playing Delaware State, which comes in with a 2-6 record.

Wins over something called Clarks Southern (?) which DSU beat, 103-56, and St. John's.

Losses to Texas Southern, Maryland-Baltimore County, Louisiana-Lafayette, Rice, Montana State and Delaware.

Delaware State has played at home just twice, and is 1-5 on the road.
