Am I in the minority with the opinion that under no circumstances do I want to see TCU be respectable in basketball? I want SMU to blow their doors off every year much like they do to us in football. Their delusional, Johnny come lately mouth breather fan base doesn't need any more ammo.

I change my mind. I want them to lose cause I also want to see what Josh Pastner actually looks like when he is happy.

I'm definitely cheering for Pastner and Georgia Tech to win the NIT, but I think it'd be great to have a real rivalry with TCU again. That doesn't happen unless games are competitive and have somewhat high stakes.

The only two times I've ever felt the rivalry since I started at SMU were the 2005 and 2011 football upsets, but even then it just kind of felt like we got lucky...

While I don't root for TCU I do root for them to get better. The rivalry is that much better when both teams have something to play for. See: Xavier/Cincy.

I would kill to have a rivalry game on the level of the Crosstown Shootout.

I'd be okay with slaughtering teams all reg season, getting disrespected with a 5/6 seed in NCAA T every year...only thing diffferent would be win a game or two or three.

Only if it is one sided domination like us and UCONN minus our 2 losses.

TCUs class is shaping up well last time I checked.

I obviously root for domination, but too much of that and the rivalry dies. (Reference: SMU/TCU football)

Brodzinansky killin' it

TCU 8-0

I remember in the SMU game he just about personally kept TCU in the game. He is getting better and better. Is he an NBA prospect? I know he doesn't look like it but this kid is a highly skilled euro. He could definitely move off the post with his shooting ability plus anybody notice what a quick jumper he is
