Tough opening round for Kelly and Bryson at the Wells Fargo in Charlotte this week. Kelly in at plus 5 and Bryson at plus 5 on his front nine. Doesn't appear our guys will be playing this weekend unless they get hot. Cut line right now looks like plus one.

That was one heck of a round today. Playing in the a.m group before the wind picked up really helped him out. Course is long and really playing tough.

Bryson's 65 was not only today's best round but is the low round of the tourney so far. Kelly missed the cut by 4 shots, but Bryson enters play tomorrow only 5 shots off the lead. Rain possible for the leaders before they finish play tomorrow.

He enters final round tied for 3rd, gonna be hard to over take Jason Day though. Well done so far.

Bryson finishes 4th, don't know the money allocation, but should earn him some bucks.

Bryson won $367K. He is having a fantastic year..... 17th in FedEx cup standings.

Bryson's 3rd round has taken him but of contention at TPC but a strong closing round could still sneak him into the top 10 in what is one of the strongest fields of the season. Currently T-26th but only 2 shots out of top 10.

Kelly missed the cut by 3 shots and Bryson's 37th place finish will earn a decent check ($50,600) at this event. He finishes 5 shots out of that top 10 that would have been really nice against this field.
