Great to hear that Ethan is in great shape, and that Whitt has significantly improved his shot. If Whitt is able to hit threes, it makes the offense a LOT better.
Whitt-Dixon-McMurray-Mike-Chargois should be good enough to handle the non-conference. Hunt/White off the bench is really thin to begin with, so I doubt they will be able to redshirt Young, unfortunately.
You missed Douglas. An improved Douglas who can be a three and D guy would be huge for this team. I really hope he steps up a notch or two.
I agree...that Memphis Doug could turn out to be a huge factor in whether this team surprises this season. Most coaches will tell you to expect a player's most dramatic improvement to come between his 1st and second seasons. We will learn this year whether Douglas is going to become a player for SMU or just another recruiting miss.
We will be lucky if Memphis Doug turns out to be a Jon Killen type.........

I really don't think it would be a good idea to have Zeke around our coeds. #MeToo
Zeke - probably a bad idea. But also probably a good idea to keep Zeke's former girlfriend away from the Phi Delt House (she could probably extort a lot more $$$ there than she could have with Zeke).
BTW - I remember when Memphis was #1 hosting #2 Tennessee - Bruce Pearl vs. Coach Cal.
That brought out the star power...Pricilla Pressley sitting court side - Payton Manning, Justin Timberlake. A bunch of NBA players.
IF Whitt is actually able to hit threes, he becomes an elite PG in the league. And if Ethan is in great shape, he becomes one of the better bigs because of his ability to hit threes. McMurray, Foster, and Mike should each be upper tier starters in the league at their positions as well... IF there aren't any injuries, and IF RAY provides depth down low, and IF Dixon is a solid scoring option off the bench and Douglas improves... could make a decent run...

Don't forget "if Hunt is ready to play at this level" to your equation. We will need production from him to "make a decent run"
