watching a very competitive Ga Tech vs USF game and realizing that Paul Johnson has been at Ga Tech for 10 years (was hired there the same year we hired JJ), I can't help but wonder whether he would have been successful at SMU.

That's going to be a tough one
I think Houston would handle TCu

USF might be able to handle TCU too.

That's an angry Michigan team after last week's opener and of course, they have been a different team at home vs on the road under Harbaugh.

Arizona is getting embarrassed by 7-11 U. Other than scoring 13 points in the fourth quarter to close the gap last week against BYU, that game was not real close. You think there is some grumbling in Tucson?

Would be more impressive for Houston to beat Tech in Lubbock than their beating a rebuilding Arizona team in Houston today. I will be pulling for Houston, just as I will pull for all of our AAC mates to beat every P5 opponent they face. We need the AAC to earn national respect and for SMU to build our program to the same level as our conference mates so we can do our part.

USF vs Ga Tech shaping up as a fantastic finish game. USF transfer QB from Alabama looks like a difference maker and just lead them down the field to take the lead.

Meanwhile, I know it's hot but Houston fans appear to have bailed early on their team.

I thought GT had USF on the ropes and switched to another game. Check back and USF is ahead again.

INT should seal the deal for USF...looking like another good win for the AAC
