USM whipped SMU, but the Stangs are still 5-2. If there are no serious injuries, SMU will play a better game against Tulsa, than they did tonight. Saw part of Tulsa-Rice and Tulsa is impressive offensively, but their defense blows.>>>Crappy weekend!!! My former HS lost last night, SMU lost tonight, and the Rangers are in the process of getting beat by St. Louis.

Bad game tonight. Good play by USm props to them.

Happy about 5-2 but will be happier about 6-2.

On the bright side, plenty of games left in the season and still a chance at a great record. Tulsa, Tulane, and then we need to get back the trophy from Navy.

Southern Miss is a good team and will probably crack the Top 25 this week. I expect SMU to roll Tulsa.

I'm not sure if you realize this, but we have the toughest cusa schedule this year. Tougher than any I have ever seen for any other team in cusa. Making the cusa championship is and never was going to be easy. If you thought we would be undefeated in conference play this year, you are a fool. June recognizes that and has made it clear to his team and the fans.

Our qb is fine. He had a miserable game because their d line showed up to play and our o line didn't. Any football player or fan should realize that.
