Louisville is definitely one of the top 5 teams in the country right now. Listing them as a 4 seed in the latest bracketology is an absolute joke.

Did you watch the tourney last year? Louisville won the championship with Harrell manning the middle. They don't have Silva but I still think Smith and Jones are as good as any backcourt in the country. Maybe Harrell's too old to do it again?

Question about the pay outs, if Louisville goes on a deep run does the american keep the units they earn even though they leave next year? I Know they pay out over a couple years. How bout if Tulsa wins a couple? Do their units stay with cusa even though they are headed here?

i said their backcourt was outrageous. I just don't think Harrell will be enough by himself inside as they get into the thick of things. The other dude is a stiff. Teams with more balance will take advantage of that. They will do well - but they won't make the final 8 in my view. Watch and learn.

Payouts go to the conference that earned them, not the team. However I seem to recall us bending over in Louisville's exit agreement, so we'll see.

Watching them, I agree. But from a resume standpoint, it's hard to argue for it. But they definitely deserve a top 3 seed. Would've liked to see them play a tougher OOC. The bottom feeders and OOC hurt Louisville badly and they lost the only two marquee matchups they had OOC. Kentucky isn't that great, nor is North Carolina and they lost them both coupled with two losses against a good but not great Memphis team. Just not enough good wins at the end of the day is what is holding them back.

Louisville didn't seem to have any issues beating UConn 3 times.

Was an awesome finish. Freakin home court for the Lobos in Vegas.
