I know mrydel. I have found him to be a modest person and delightful company. His post is very much out of character. However, I feel I do understand his feelings. I too played. And I have fond memories of playing tt. Tt always played a good game and displayed excellent sportsmanship. Even getting off the plane in Lubbock with the tt Wranglers (I don't remember their exact name but it was a student boaster organization) welcoming the visiting team impressed me as a class act.
That said, after Saturday night, all fond memories of tt are flushed down the toilet. The classless act of the tt team has left with me a mighty powerful anger. To hell with tt and its fans.
I apologize for the impression of arrogance. The point I was trying to make was that my reason for not coaching is due to the excellent education I received from what I believe to be one of the finest Universities in the nation. My big office is available due to the kindness of my employer who likes to hire those that can successfully make money for his business. Again I thank my University. Thank you for the kind words Ponyte. I know that you know how I feel when a great sport with worthy competitors is debased by an ARROGANT coach trying to make himself look better by running up the score in a flagrant display of poor sportsmanship.
