If you honestly think that Hobbs and Merrill are better than the Auburn tandom, the USC trio or the Minnesota duo, then there is really no point in continuing this debate/discussion. You are so out of touch with the reality of college football that it is not even funny. But that is my opinion, so I guess we will agree to disagree.

Same goes with Stallion, if he believes TCU has the skill position players that would put them in the Top 5 overall in all of college football then so be it.

I did not think LT was overrated when he was at TCU, and I think he is one of the top backs in the NFL. But what does LT's performance in the NFL (or the WAC) have anything to do with our debate?

You forgot to add the ACC b/c Gore and three-legged dog would be a better tandom that Merrill and Hobbs. Throw Florida State in there as well, since Booker and Washington are also superior to the TCU backs.
