from his previous posts I discern a definite anti-Copeland viewpoint from SMU71 so I doubt it is going to be a change in the athletic directorship of SMU.

There must be an announcement that the Board (or whatever it is called) voted to have a new athlete friendly major.

I heard the big announcement was that Peruna got lucky with the Texas Tech horse and a colt is due later next year.

That would be pretty cool. He got some action a few years back with the stipulation that SMU got any all black shetlands resulting from his experience. I don't think there were any that were all black though.

OK. I know nothing. I know nothing first hand. Or second hand. I have heard no rumors. All I do is speculate. Make reasonable inferences and draw conclusions. So I am not spilling the beans, as I have no beans to spill.
As I mentioned in the post/thread on the Board of Trustees, there was/is talk about a "School of Education and Human Development." Whatever that is.
OK.
Let us also take a stab and search for that term on the SMU website. Google is an interesting thing, ins't it? Funny how you can bring up things like faculty Senate Meeting Minutes. Also funny how you can read those things and find interesting comments.
Comments like "It is possible that in the future the school would have an undergraduate major in sports management that athletes would be interested in pursuing, but that would be far in the future."

Teh announcemnet will most likely be made Tuesday or possibly Weds.
I can tell you....this has nothing to do with the academic side of the University. It is really good for the athletic department.
