DeLay is starting as of now, with scout teamers behind him...I see him starting, no questions asked. At nose, the last time Mouton played (during practice, only) he got moved to O-line. Furthemore, Mout0n didn't play his senior year of h.s. b/c of injury, red-shirted at JUCO and then a medical red-shirt...I don't want a starter who hasn't played in 3 seasons. We'll see...I'm keeping my bets with DeLay (Pryor at 2nd string, currently) and Bonds and Des at the other side.
DeLay is a fine player. But he was recruited at DE, so if he was needed there, I would think he could fill in there. And before we say "no questions asked," we also should note that Mouton practiced with the offensive line after he was ruled out for the season with that throat infection (or whatever it was), and he was providing extra practice depth where it was needed. He since has been returned to the defensive line. But from what I've heard about Mouton, he'd like up at placekicker or QB if the team needed him there. And as much as I like DeLay -- and I'm a fan of #55 -- Mouton does have about 40 pounds on him. Let's see how spring ball goes. I'm excited to see them both on the field.
mustangswillwin, out of all mouton hardships and mishaps he has more heart and talent on the d-line keep your eyes on him. he probably would have been your third dt in the line up this year if not for his tonsils. sr year in high school was not because of injury and he made it a plan not to play at kilgore. if mouton dose not start this year on the d-line we got problems he is very capable of a playmaker keep your eyes on him he's a good one with heart and skills to match.
3 years no game action practiced every week and ONLY beat up on his teammates i feel for the first guy who lines up against him on the first play of his season. WHAT A POP THAT GUY WILL FEEL THREE YEARS BABY AND WE CAN'T WAIT FOR THE 1ST GAME CONTACT
