Not sure about Sanders, but I've never heard his name mentioned past one Rivals story.

Don't know why the kid would mention Baylor if the offer wasn't put on the table.
Didn't Eric's Dad play at Baylor???

His dad did play for BU and our staff liked him, but he was behind Blake Szymanski and Marcus Jackson who had offers. Eric would have been offered if those two fell through. Blake accepted the offer and we backed off Marcus at that time.

You mean the SID office at SMU? Or at his JUCO?

Columbus Givens has chosen SMU over UTEP (offer)
Eric Johnson has chosen SMU over Tulane and Baylor (offers)
Emmanuel Sanders has chosen SMU over Houston, Baylor, Kansas (all offered), and others
Randall Goode has chosen SMU over UTEP (offer)
Ross Nigh has chosen SMU over Colorado, Texas Tech (offers), among others
Patrick Handy has chosen SMU over UTEP (offer), TCU, Vanderbilt
David Allison has chosen SMU over Colorado and Syracuse (offers)

I know there's more, but that's what I can think of off the top of my head. I'm feeling good about this class.

Ross Nigh also was named second-team all-state (3A) and also had offers from UTEP, TCU, Rice and Texas State. Very nice - welcome aboard, Ross!
