It's been a long time ago, but I remember our HS coach making a huge deal out of ft's, teaching proper form and shooting technique as a matter of muscle memory--i.e., many many many many rep's. We could not leave practice until we'd made 8/10...twice. That's every practice. And we were a good ft shooting team. It ain't that hard to get there if it's actually emphasized.

Your wife didn't need to read about the yelling on the board. I heard him, too, while I was visiting with a friend on the other side of the stadium, and then when he was hoarse, he tried to tell me that "I didn't yell". Yeh, OK, whatever.
