this dustin kempf guy does not seem very good... he is a hs de/te... he is slow and only weighs 205 so he really weighs 195 cause hs programs always add 5 to 10 lbs...

Stafford is not coming to smu, we offered him last year and I talked to him and I asked him what it would take to get him to smu and he said,
"A lot"... plus he is a top ten national recruit, albeit i think he is overrated after last season, but a top ten national recruit is not coming here especially when he was invited to the Nike super 11 camp as a to be junior

for those of you not aware of the Nike super 11.. it is a qb camp put on by surprise Nike, where they invited the top 11 to be sr qbs across the country.. every year they invite a few to be juniors who are basically guaranteed to be invited back.. this camp is crawling w/ scouts from every big school across the nation

I agree that Stafford is overrated. Nice player, but he's not the next Matt Lineart or anything. I'd be glad to have him at SMU -- he's a good player. I just think the national Top 10 stuff is a little high.

Those are all the offers that Rivals.com lists for SMU at the current moment.

I would be suprised if SMU hadn't offered more than this, however, either the person being offered isn't on Rivals radar or they have so many offers that Rivals has stopped listing SMU on the prospects sheet (Stafford is one such player).

The list of guys interested in SMU according to Rivals is much longer than the offered.

I'm sure there is a confidential list of double secret 2A and 3A phenoms who attended SMU camps but who have not been recruited by anyone else in the Country who SMU has offered. I bet Stampede has access to the list but we are waiting until all the really highly recruited players to announce elsewhere until SMU coaches start leaking their names. Honestly, if past years are any indications we might get few if any of the top kids we've offered off that list above.

Since Stallion brought it up...

Of the list we know that has been offered: Dan'tay Ward and Cody Williams have already committed elsewhere.

Oh and Stafford is committing today to someplace else.

Stallion, you are such a stud, am glad that you know exactly what is going on with the offers. Don't you get it yet that the majority of the people who take the time to look at this webpage are sick and tired of you and your constantly being negative.

Finger-pointing aside, I'd like to know if you have additional information. How do you know about the additional offers? How many have been extended?
