Not trying to point-out any deficiencies on your behalf, but it would be wise for you to direct your cheap shots at my source instead of me - this makes sense, IMO, considering my post was simply a summary of what someone else said, - and Im pretty sure i made this clear in my post - at least clear enough for the average SMU student/alumni or anyone with a college level education for that matter.

Huh? My original post simply postured the theory that practice isn't like games. It attacked no one. It is you who took it to a different level attacking my "genius". Cowboy up.

Name your source so we can judge the credibility of your reliance on this person.

no reason to subject my source to this board, given how unreasonable it can be. Why not just go check one of these games out one weekday? I think they play around 5 m-f. I will say that my source does play in these games a lot - I dont know what that means to some here (i thought and meant to make this in my orig post), but to me it means that he might know a thing or two about whats going on during these games.
At this point, just hoping for a good season... Ill try not to post anything forward looking in nature, from now on. Whats the point anyway - given the overflow of exciting and insightful reading on the board this time of year

Look, I appreciate a good basketball fan as much as the next guy. Hell, I've come on here and suggested that we ought to emphasize the men's hoops program as our primary revenue sport, to a chorus of boos from the fans of our ever-successful football program. But when you come on here and say things like our backcourt is the best in the NCAA and Bamba Fall is ready for the NBA--based on a hearsay report from a pick-up game at Dedman, no less--you're asking to be knocked around a little bit.
I used to play pick-up hoops at Dedman with Terry Williams, Rod Hampton, Johnny Fuller and others, but if I hadn't seen them play in a D-1 game I'd never try to evaluate their talent from a game with competition the likes of me.

I heard Chris Phillips might be better than Matt Leinart. Expect he and Bobby Chase to be unstopable by just about any defense in the NCAA

Danny- I impugn your source. You though I'm sure are a top notch reporter of football news. Don't divulge your source though. That would make you a bad reporter- No Bob Bernstein would you be.

due, thanks for the update. There is nothing wrong with a positive report. Sounds like the new blood coming into the program will certainly help. We'll know for sure in a few months.

What part of Due's report indicates to you that these guys are playing against guys the likes of you???? Sounded to me like they were playing against each other, i.e., Fall against Bosh.

PK - your exactly right. If anyone on this board only had a clue of the level of comp out there, they would know its not your typical pickup game.
JT - dont remember saying Bamba was ready for the NBA - and claiming I said SMU would have the best backcourt is a stretch and further evidence of how unreasonable and silly this board is overall - I admit, "unstoppable" was a poor choice of words - let me edit: Our backcourt will be very tough to stop. Allow me to summarize: Very stupid and illogical post on your behalf.

Hey, your the one who said your qualifications weren't too great.

Besides, "6' white guy" says it all.
