JB- Ford is back at TE. Double TE sets will probably be Hampton and Hrncir on blocking schemes. Ford will play a lot of HBack and go in motion to lead block and for passing situations. Ford is extremely fast for a TE, and it will be tough to match up with him.

Hoofprint: No, I meant the starting OL will be Davis, Chandler, Davis, Chandler and Davis. Just kidding. You are correct, the starting guards as of now are Kieschnick and Hargis. OL from L to R: Davis, Kieschnick, Chandler, Hargis, and Harris. This will probably change by the first game.

Thanks for pointing ouy the typo. Hargis is good but he aint good enough to play both guard positions at the same time.

Ford makes more sense as a tight end but you cant seriously compare Ford and Cardwell in terms of speed. Gimme a break, compared to Ford, Cardwell runs a 4.2. And the toughness doesn't count against weak teams. I'll see how tough he is against Tech and OSU. Anyways the comment about Wallis getting all of them ball was worthless because that battle hasn't even begun yet, so let's not put the cart before the Pony.

Who is comparing Ford to Cardwell in terms of speed? Ford is a TE and damn fast for that position. Cardwell, FYI, does not run a 4.2 40.

JAF- Man, has Ford done something to you? You really have it in for him. And, it's just my opinion, but, I think he IS pretty in that uniform.

No he hasn't done anything to me, and I dont have it in for him, I just am not impressed by his play. And I said comparitively Cardwell runs a 4.2. It's called an overstatement to prove a point. Read previous posts and you'll understand. I just think that there are too many quality receivers on the team to waste a spot on Ford. But he does look pretty....

Once again Justafriend, Ford won't be playing receiver. He's worked hard over the summer weighing over 240 now and will definitely prove himself wherever they end up playing him.

240? I heard that as of 2 weeks ago, he weighed in at under 220. Are you sure?
Maybe I heard some false info.

Someone said Gilray threw a pitch 89 mph at that concourse pitcher's mound at the Ballpark Friday night. Quite a feat when you consider no warm up.

89 is major gas. There are a lot of major league pitchers (Jamie Moyer, Jeff Fassero, etc.) who have been able to win games for years without cracking 90 mph. Sounds like Gilray's got a gun.
