They are. And the reason they're collecting OL recruits so fast is because they're graduating a ton (maybe all five starters?) off that line. With Rogers, Bonds, Haywood and Muse back next year, and presumably improved play from the backups, our defensive line should be one of the stronger units on next year's team, shouldn't it? (If Haywood and company can start the year next season with a monster game .... eight months to dream!)

Wouldn't it? I'll always remember The Leach's behavior at the end of their last visit here, and would like nothing better than to stomp on him.

DL should be good but I am not looking forward to breaking in a new secondary vs. Tech. :shock:

Shoulda-been-Conference-USA-Defensive-Player-Of-The-Year Joe Sturdivant will hold things together for us. Big upset coming in September! (I hope)

Yes, I am counting on Joe to provide leadership back there as well as his usual strong presence.

Hardly anybody wins in Lubbock. And we never play well there. I'd be more hopeful if the game was in Dallas where we have played them tough recently.
