Yes - I understand. We care, but the majority of their readers do not. Why does this discussion come up every other week on every section of PF?

you guys need to chill out ~
No, that is exactly our problem, too many fans have "chilled out". Being on the back pages after all of the UT and Big 12 coverage is one thing, but to not get BASIC LOCAL TEAM COVERAGE which certainly means more that a 2 inch wire report is just bizzare. I can stomach the excess that is given to UT, A&M, and Oklahoma, but to fall below Tech, Baylor and the rest plus the women is not acceptable.

Today these guys have a legitimate beef since SMU got only a 2 paragrapgh capsule story for a conference game. I do think on this occassion that they should be crticized-I'm almost hoping for their sake it was some type of mistake because it was inexcusable.

In today's "QUICK" paper, (the condensed version of the DMN) SMU was not even included in the wire report! But TCU's loss made it in. Pathetic coverage by the DMN!!!!! By the way........I read the story on Bevo Corp. in the Dallas Observer today..........very interesting! DMN SUXXXX!!!!

Of course it matters - not surprised about the UT coverage at all - there are many more of them then us and the paper is out for customers and they are desperate since print is slowly dying.
However this is ridiculous - and a short, civilized e-mail cc'ing the main editor and maybe Robert Dechard is appropriate and if they get more then 7-8 will be noticed.

Think Robert Dechard read the sports back then when he was a teenager? - hell no, he was a wussy boy. Now as a man, he has completely destroyed what was one of the great newspapers in America. The only way to send a message to that wuss is to cancel your subscription and stop watching channel 8.
The cartoonist was the great Bill McClanahan.
