Rice Game Thread

Watching the game on the computer. You can hear the crowd noise, you can hear the color commentator, but the play by play man's mic is off...Really hard to follow since they don't have a scoreboard on screen.

Too bad we didn't have more scoring in the first half...Rice is playing lousy...we should be up double digits.

Hopkins needs to find it in the second half.

Just pull up gametracker- yes, we should be up by more since Almond is not as active. Bad passes and missed opportunities. Rack hit one from the corner - couldn't believe it.

SMUPhil, that's correct. Rice fouled SMU three different times within the last seven seconds of the half. They had fouls to give and did not want to give SMU a clean shot before the half.

The Rice radio announcers know they played poorly in the first and are thankful they are only down by five.

Heh, I kinda like that. He gave him his own nickname and has called him that all game.

"Big D" is kinda nice for Rack.

No points for B-Hop on 0-7 shooting but he does have 9 rebounds and 6 assists.

Last media timeout...stil 52-46 with 3 minutes to go.

SMU is really hustling this game. Pearson has stolen 2 rebounds from Rice for putbacks.

Hopkins isnt scoring, but this is the best I have seen him with assists...he has gotten SMU many easy baskets today.
