He was a good defender at SMU, not great, but he is a testament to the kind of mentality it takes for a player of his ability to make it to the next level. Q was always a good offensive player, but the NBA is full of GREAT offensive players, and to his credit he saw a niche for a defensive specialist, and learned to play great defense at the next level. Cheers to him.

Cheers, indeed!
Go get 'em, Q -- shut down the Nuggets again.
Go Clippers!

Are you guys watching tonight's game? The announcers did about a three-minute essay on Ross, how he was WAC Player of the Year, how he was a good scorer at SMU, went to Belgium to work on his game, now the Clips' "best perimeter defender" and lots of talk about how he's doing such a great job on Carmelo Anthony. Great pub!

saw that last night, the announcer said out of smu in dallas, and then doug collins went on with his love-fest for Q. thought that was awesome, and i am the newest clippers fan! collins talked about dunleavy's statement that ross ia always perfect, in the right place at the right time, and makes his shots.

I loved that "always in the right place" speech. They also gushed about his willingness to attack the rim after he blew right past Melo and tried to dunk on Marcus Camby, who fouled the hell out of him.
Bought a Clippers hat last weekend.
