My god, how'd Keylon make such a habit of that?
I recall after one particular fumble, a friend proclaimed, "How much was he paid to drop that ball?!"

Aside from both of their names starting with 'De', not really. What was Williams' production as a freshman?

Martin is still Potential but that is with a capital P.

The main difference in Martin and Williams would porbably be size/running style. Martin is in the 6' 2" or so range and 210-220 range amd often will run into/ over tacklers. Where as Williams is 5' 10" and seemed to be more of a "slasher". But I think Martin has the potential maybe not to gain as many yards as Williams, partially because we hopefully wont have 3 QB's getting hurt his Sr year, but I think he can be a threat that would be gameplanned around like Williams.

Willams was about 5'10 and 210 with 4.4 speed. Don't know the exact yardage is freshman year but it was around 800-900 yards as a backup running back. He didn't become the feature back in our system unitl his sophmore year. The rest is history.

DeAngelo might be the 2nd running back taken in Saturday's Draft, most likely he will be a 1st round draft pick.
DeMyron will not be a 1st round draft pick.
Has SMU had a first
DAY draft pick in the past 18 years???

Do you really even need to ask that question?

Ahead of the other USC running back, White (?).

I have to say that Dallas has much more competition for the entertainment dollar than does Memphis. Our friends in Stillwater, College Station and Lubbock do not have this problem.
By the way-DeAngelo should be nabbed by the Cowboys if available. He is going to be a total stud in the NFL.

I would take Williams over LenDale White, especially since White was way overweight at his pro day and only had one more rep on the bench press than the punter, and he didnt run because of "a pulled hamstring"

I would still take White despite his offseason. He has the chance to be something special if placed in a place like Pitts.
D-williams is amazing though so we shall see.

White is becoming a bowlingball like the Bus

The Bus had a great pro career. Bush was the speed back, White was the possession back. You can't argue with his success. I have heard him projected as the second back taken in the draft by talking heads like Kiper and Golic.

I guess we will see tomorrow, I would be leary of White not for his work while in school but for his last 3 months, only doing one more rep than the punter on the bench is bad, especially when its 9 behind bush. Plus he was 244 at his pro day, USC lists him at 230, fifteen pounds is alot to put on in 3 months, if your supposedly getting into draft shape.

Glad you added "if you're supposely getting into draft shape". I have no problem putting on 15 pounds in 3 months. As a matter of fact, if I keep "progressing" as I currently am, Jtstang will need to go elsewhere for his seats because I will need both of mine.
