around here, it won't take long. If people are consistent at least.

I myself have already turned on him. I mean he came into the perfect situation and has already had 2 weeks to recruit- we should have a few blue chippers already.
In other words, no I don't think it will be anytime soon Hoop/jt.

I have had enough. We need Nick Nolte. He turned that school in "Blue Chips" around overnight.

That is classic!
Of course, having Shaq and Penny Hardaway in one recruiting class helped immensely.

Not certain how many, if any, he will get for SMU this spring given the super-late start. But he does have a pattern of overhauling the roster within a year or so.
At Notre Dame slightly over a year and brought in 7 players IIRC, Ryan Humphrey, Chris Thomas etc.
First year at Carolina he brought in 9: Felton, May McCants et al.
At FAU 13 months, and brought in 12 different players (signings and verbals)

If Nolte were the coach, would Arthur have been.....
a. Penny Hardaway - wanting house for his mother
b. Shaq- wanting no bribes
c. White guy from Indiana - wanting a duffle bag of cash and a tractor (okay, replace tractor with an escalade)
That is the truely important matter here.
jt, I realize your comment was made in jest. You have been playing that card for a while now and it is funny. Not so sure about Hoop's post though. I tried to use some sarcasm in my post, but I guess I am not a great wordsmith and it didn't really reflect my tone properly. I will try harder next time.

Don't forget that Shaq still got a Lexus out of the deal or that Penny's mom got a nice job as well.

Shaq turned away the Lexus and said he didn't ask for it I thought. I know he said, "I didn't ask for this" just not sure if he did take it. Did he end up accepting it later on or right then? I haven't seen it in quite a while.
You are correct about the job for Penny's mom.

Shaq kept the car, I think, because it was Ed O'Neal's first question at the press conference after they beat Indiana to be no. 1 in the country.
