MWC, TCU can't stay married for more than 5 years.

Again, for instance, Baylor, Big XII, sells more athletic merchandise [online], believe it or not, than Texas Tech and Oklahoma State.

LOL how true. Personally, I see BYU and Fresno State going to the Pac-10; causing MWC to pick up UTEP from CUSA. The WAC will need another team so they take a TCU team who believes that conference will give them an "in-road" to California recruiting and better natural rivals like San Diego State. CUSA needs another team, so they pick up North Texas.

I don't mean to be rude, or anything, but are you on crack? Or, are you just trying to be funny? I hope you're not serious . . .

Frogie, Frogie, if your TCU team didn't hop from conference to conference like they do and pick bad conferences when they do move, I would say that what I just posted has no chance in H-E-double-hockey-sticks of happening. But come on, you have to admit that your school has made some idiotic decisions as of late when it comes to joining conferences.

I agree that the decisions that we have made concerning C-USA and WAC ultimately ended up as poor ones--however, moving back to the WAC, or even C-USA, for that matter, would be a step down, which we will not take.
TCU made a very good decision, as did several other institutions, to leave C-USA while we still could . . . you'll see why I say this in a few years. I see your reasoning, however.
All the Best,

A side-step at worst. 11-1 in your first season in a conference means you moved to easier teams. That's pretty much undisputable. Meanwhile, what do you think is going to happen with CUSA?

We aligned ourselves with some large western state schools, which given the departure of Louisville, Cincy, et al. makes it a smart move. When Congress starts in again on the BCS monopoly, we have New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, and Wyoming working in our favor. Also, according to the Sagrin ratings, http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbc05.htm we had a better conference last year

C-USA will not be around in five years; at the best. SMU will accept an invitation elsewhere within the next two years.
I speak truth.

Where will SMU be invited in the next two years? Just curious; TCU fans are the experts on changing conferences...
