SMU has no rivals at this time, either in C-USA or out of conference.

If you didn't feel like you'd beaten a rival last year when we got over on TCU, there's something wrong -- especially when you consider the losses we'd taken in recent years. That was a big win over a team I'll always consider a rival. Losing to them hurt more than other losses, and beating them felt better than other wins.

Nice!

As both teams collect better and better talent, I'd think SMU/Rice might increase a little. Rice is a great school, and it's hard to hate those guys, but on the field, that's one I'd like to see pick up some steam.

TCU is probably the first school everyone thinks of when it comes to a rival...it brings in the whole Dallas/Ft. Worth thing too...

I'm surprised that no one has thrown out SMU / Baylor yet! Besides it being the battle of 2 private schools, its got the whole Methodist/Baptist dimension. They were our most anticipated game last year by far on campus, even more than the TCU game. I know a lot more people who went to the Baylor game than TCU (too bad for them huh???)

Most anticipated game? You must run in different circles than I do. My friends wanted to see us beat Baylor, of course, but some of those idiots I hang out with got to The Boulevard ridiculously early and basically turned into rabid dogs when Froggy High came to town. (You should have seen them AFTER 21-10....)
