"I don't want to get into a semantics battle. I would feel bad for running up the score on you. But...
They go to the middle of nowhere FROM DALLAS. "
I would SWEAR that's what I just said....twice. How exactly
did you get into SMU??

I give up. There's no use in spelling out the entire thread to explain how the classless rednecks come from the middle of nowhere and not from Dallas.
Why don't you put your helmet on and get back on the short bus back to Lubbock?

You give up?
You probably gave up trying to operate your Scooby Doo toothbrush this morning.
BTW, I'm one of you classy Dallas folk...but don't worry, I'm getting on the short bus Friday night to watch you try to stay with 6 or 7 TDs of us on Saturday. Good luck with that.

I'll put any kind of wager with you that we'll stay within 6 or 7 TD's my classy Tech friend. Are you prepared to back that up?

Your classy Tech friend has better commom sense than to make a wager where I could still lose even if we cover the spread. We may be classless hicks from the middle of nowhere (I know that describes where I'm from...Plano), but we's ain't stupid.

You're not stupid, just bitter that you didn't get into your 1st choice school and had to settle for your safety school, Texas Tech. That has resulted in a major case of envy.

That might hurt if we weren't talking about SMU here.

Who are you trying to fool, other than yourself?

I hate Tech more than any other "natural and traditional rival." I always remember the game that one of their trashy players who was walking off the field after beating us looked at my former girlfriend, who was on the pom-squad, and said "Y'all suck!" then spit in her direction. Bunch of classless rednecks from the middle of nowhere.
Yep. That is the attitude that is so deep at SMU and why SMU fought so hard to keep Tech out of the SWC. It is just a prejudice and egotistical attitude that isn't accurate except in the eye of the beholder. And guys like BRStang will only see Tech that way regardless of what happens.

Oh puh-leeze.
When you actually beat us sometime sooner than when Reagan was President, talk smack. Work on beating the likes of Tulsa first.

If I were an SMU fan, I wouldn't be bringing up what happened in the good 'ol SWC days.
God bless the Big XII.

Okay then, how many Big XII titles have you won? Exactly as many as we have won. And you guys didn't even have to join the WAC not to win!
Man, what a crappy conference that was... and before you say anything. You guys didn't win the WAC either. Though your team does bear striking resmblence to the WAC teams of yore. Back when BYU was going to the Holliday every year. And that's actually a compliement.
