If that happened, I would be very happy...even despite us losing.
I'm never happy when the Ponies lose.

Rain-soaked FB slows down the RR offense.

With comfortable 2nd half 21-6 lead, the unrestrained ego of Leach cannot go easy. Bombs away play calling by Leach gives us a couple of INT & we steal it in the final minute 23-20.

Despite the road upset, PB stills offer to whip Leach's [deleted] @ 50 yd line. There are no takers.

70-10 Tech

Leach is asked about running up the score on SMU again and he responds, " It is their job to stop us, they didn't do that too well "

Yeah, you know, you are right, they really poured it on the last time we played you guys... seriously, I don't expect to win, but get over yourself.

We never play well in Dallas. I think we get distracted by the barbers with instruments you guys have in the stands. Good thing this one's in Lubbock.

Could be worse...they could be those rejects from Pancho's with instruments that YOU guys have in the stands.

Is Tech better than 04? Probably
Is SMU better than 04? Definatly

Home field, I'll give you 10 points for home field. Other than that, SMU's ability to mount an offense will be big, but not big enough for us to win.

While its generous for you to give us 10 points for home field, I think its a little lofty to think we're only 4 points better than you at a neutral locale.
