I guess there is a rational way to see the entire batch as spoiled, give our lack of success over the last twenty years. It remains to be seen but maybe a house-cleaning is long overdue. The way the ponyfans were giddy when Orsini was hired, I figure you'd support him in his change of direction for the athletic department.

Chris Walker accepted a very good position for career positioning at a school much closer to his family. From what I gather, he was not going to be pushed out. Barb Totzke left to go into private business, a venture she has been working on for months.

Ed Wisneski was so far detached from SMU's student athletes and the actual job marketplace, I have a hard time imagining he helped 20 people land legitimate jobs over the 10 years.
Went into Scott's office at 2:30PM Thursday, to pick up my tickets for Lubbock and spoke to him, but he didn't know. However he saw the witting on the wall.
He really should have been kept. He needed the exposure of working for a professional AD instead of a tired old jock, waiting to retire to Virginia. Scott had a feeling for the school which is one of the most important criteria.

Still had to be done. I am sure these were all really nice people but results are what matter. I still have not seen a big push yet to market these Mustangs. You would think with the crappy Arkansas State team rolling into town in 2 weeks we would see an all out push to get people to the game. All I know is that I expect to see Steve-O to get his people in and get this team some exposure and do everything possible to bring back the disinterested Mustang Fan. If not, then 2 years from now we will be asking that he hit the road.
I thought Scott was qualified to take over for Copeland. Orsini should have encouraged them to leave when he got there. Very bad time to be fired when you are in college athletics administration. I would guess they won't be able to apply for anythign until spring.
