Not anymore, you just quit SMU.

Yeah. I keep telling myself that, but it's seems easier said than done. It's a frickin' disease I tell you. I'm actually waffling about reinstating my plans to drive up for Sam.

Anyway, who are you? The SMU fan police? I wouldn't exactly call what you do week in and week out on this board "supporting the team."

Definitely not the fan police, just a guy who is realistic about SMU football. And one who knows how to read a guy's post when he quits on his school.

BRSTANG WROTE:
"... I think back to my first boss at my first law firm I practiced at in Dallas. At one time, he was a big Tech fan, but explained to me that one day he had to just stop even following Tech football. He used to say--"I have enough stress in my life. Weekends are a time to relax and enjoy your family and life away from work. Investing your emotions in something that perpetually lets you down is not healthy." I used to argue with him and say, "But its your school; you can't give up on them." After so many years of this, I am forced to realize that he wins the debate.... "

Then, why are you here?
