I see you've taken after us with the 21-10 thing we can still throw at TCU.

In the end, this might be the best thing for this program. If nothing else, it will get the players and coaches to realize that they need to work a LOT harder.

You may be right, from the radio talk shows, to the stories in the paper, all of them are talking about how in the hell SMU could lose to a pathetic program like NTS! Every SMU booster that I run into is outraged by this, so mabey it is for the best. One day we may thank our friends from NTS.

Alex, I'm not blessed enough to live in Dallas. I'm down here in CC in high school and let me tell you, I was talking with two of the seven other SMU fans in my high school (that's right, there are eight of us in 1100...) and we decided that 1) SMU has to play better especially against other Metroplex teams, and 2) We flat out got beat.

I'm hoping we improve on both of those soon

UNT has the finest music school in the nation.

There's some school in NYC called Julliard that's pretty good. However, I'm not sure what their SAT average is. There's also Indiana University, The Eastman School at Rochester and others.

Michigan State also claims to be pretty good at Music Education:
"Michigan State University has one of the leading music education programs in the United States. According to annual rankings published in U.S. News and World Report, MSU is the number one ranked college in the country for teacher education in 2000, 2001, and 2002."

What was UNT's music school ranking from U.S. News & World Report? I thought Rice was ranked higher, at least for music performance.

You need to compare apples to apples. I know for a fact that neither Julliard nor Michigan State have a "special teams" Maestro for their Kazoo section as does NTSU.

Those are all fine schools and comparible to North Texas and its worldwide reputation for it's schools of music and education. But that wasn't my point. Where's SMU on that list? It's not. SMU doesn't compare in those fields.. Like I said its one area that UNT excels in and SMU does not. Just as SMU has a great law school and UNT does not compare in that field. Geeze, touchy touchy over here.

Our music school is pretty boss. But not like the uptight jazz musicians UNT produces.
