I was a Handler.. and can attest that Peruna is just a large dog. He also HATED President Pye.. used to snap at him.. kinda funny.

Very smart. He usually made it his business to do his business on the field right where the other team would be lining up and there wouldn't always be time to clean it all up.

how old is this current Peruna?

This will be his 9th year. The changing of the guard happened in fall of 1997. I think he is around 12 or 13. Can't remember exactly.

That Peruna was a feisty one. I remember his first game at Texas Stadium, must have been 86. Both Perunas were there. The old one was pretty calm and mellow. New Peruna (sorry, I can't remember their rank) was jumping all over the place. Good times back in the SWC.
