Per the DMN Blog:
Seven reasons to stay home Saturday
There are seven games with ranked teams playing each other Saturday. According to the Associated Press: Since the AP media poll started ranking the top 25 teams in 1989, there has only been one day — Oct. 16, 1993 — when more ranked teams squared off.
Here are the games with a comment from Brian Davis. Tell us your vote for biggest upset of the day.
• No. 2 Notre Dame vs. No. 11 Michigan: Brady Quinn, Irish riding high after mobbing Penn State
• No. 3 Auburn vs. No. 6 LSU: LSU’s defense, which has allowed six points, looks good
• No. 4 USC vs. No. 19 Nebraska: Huskers back on national scene if they knock off USC
• No. 7 Florida vs. No. 13 Tennessee: Which Tennessee team shows up at home this week?
• No. 12 Louisville vs. No. 17 Miami: Canes slipped off the radar after Florida State loss
• No. 15 Oklahoma at No. 18 Oregon: Ducks lost in Norman and again at the Holiday Bowl
• No. 20 TCU vs. No. 24 Texas Tech: Raiders don’t lose these type of trap games much anymore
• 0-2 SMU vs. Sam Houston at Ford

I might have added that last one....

I owe you a BBQ meal. How about tomorrow?
You will be at the Reunion? I will have BBQ by Ford stadium tomorrow evening. I am heading out this evening to pick up ponylb in Shreveport.
If you are at the reunion, I will take you up on the BBQ. If you are in LR tomorrow (and I understand the need to be close to home), I will have to take another rain check.
I will not be flying into Dallas until Saturday AM. Forgot about the reuninon with everything else going on. Maybe next week in preparation of the Arkie St massacre.

See you Saturday then. I will toss back a cold one in your honor tomorrow. Let us plan a Arky State massacre event for next week.

Anybody have any idea what the estimated attendence really is for this game ? Number of tickets sold ? I hope we have somewhat of a decent crowd for the players. They need our support.

During the summer, some of the Bearkat fans said they would bring around 5,000. I hope so.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the turnout of Bearkats at Ford today.
