Our crew will be there, as always, about 9 am to set up and watch Gameday on the Boulevard (we were a little late last week and didn't have the tv going until a little after 11).

Hey Healy, I noticed your sister is the Student Rep to the Board of Trustees. Betcha she knows before anybody else whether SMU receives the Bush Library, as well as when the announcement will be. Why don't you ask her for us. See if she will break with the lock-step code of silence coming from the Board.

She would also be made aware of any hiring/firing of a major...er...um...coach...should this season go into the tank.

Just FYI for those who are interested.

p.s. I will be there.

Don't know that they could object -- has anyone done this before?

I'll be there Saturday. Can't get there Friday, unfortunately. A Friday evening-through-Saturday tailgate with beer, football, beer, BBQ and maybe some beer would be unheard of. Start it up!

Bringing 15? Nice job, smupony!
Makes my group of 8 (including me) seem a little undermanned, but we'll try to match you in the decibels department....

I thought I had heard at one point that the BLVD was open from midnight to midnight, but I can't seem to find anything that gives BLVD hours. As long as you're not making a disturbance, I think SMU PD will leave you alone. Heck...if you can do it, let us know. If SMU starts winning some more games, I'll join you out there.

we will be there b/c our tent is down there...

well, i guess we'll be there, assuming we can get past the SS security guards and/or don't die hauling our supplies to our tent (yes, still bitter about Blvd. policies)

The midnight to midnight is for the Game day agreement for the church, drinking and tailgating.

I have spent the night there a few times when I had my BUS. Usually so I could go to the Letterman party and then the game the next day. I did talk to Campus police before I did it. They appreciated the notice and came by and talked.

I do believe there were a few others doing that too. Tent???? I do not know about that. Not real safe and no facilities for grooming.

Be there with the usual crowd.

Two things:

1) Kegs are not and have never been allowed on the Boulevard. I imagine people have gotten away with some from time to time but I doubt UP changed their laws recently to allow this. I believe its technically illegal to have a keg at SMU anyways, not that this has stopped anyone. If I'm wrong someone please let me know. If you bring a keg, be prepared for an authority to dispose of it if one feels so inclined. Kegs would make life much easier on the BLVD...

2) They seem to run you off a little earlier this year than midnight if you hang around the BLVD. I stayed with 4 other friends at the great Matt A. tailgate site after last weeks game well after gametime and an officer shooed us off around 11ish if I'm not mistaken.
