One of the best atmosheres for a SMU TV game I have seen since the early 80s. Sorry If I missed anyone on the free drinks, I tried to check with everyone that was left. I will get you next time!

OK,

Off to cure my hangover...for you youngsters out there, 10 Bass Drafts and 4 Jaeger bombs makes you feel kinda bad the next day......

I missed mine. Please mail a check to me in Sherwood, AR. I was going to order a very expense drink with an umbrella in it.

...when Jesse Henderson made his 100+ yd. kickoff TD return, you'd have thought SMU had just won the national championship!

It reminded me of another kickoff return from years past.

ttech (in lubbock) had just tied us with seconds left to play and the ttech fans instantly sank to the level of arkansas fans with their commentary and hand gestures. They were really vile.

So, I'd say the only thing better than being with a bunch of Mustangs when you see a run back on a kickoff like that, is being in the belly of the beast with a red hot poker.

Of course, we were working toward a national championship.

I didn't get one - but that's probably a good thing after getting down on some Guinness draft......

Great atmosphere for the game, hopefully we can a similar thing going on all future TV game. It was good to see other pony fans, and finally meet Mr.Mustang1965 personally.

Jager mixed with RED BULL? Good lord man, are you trying to kill somebody?

I didn't get home in time to make the watching party at Aces and Eights. But I walked the dog by there after the game was over, and there were a bunch of very loud, drunk people on the sidewalk wearing Tulane shirts. They were smoking cigarettes and looked extremely bummed out. A couple of them were having a heated discussion. I let my SMU hat speak for itself. Nobody noticed me. Probably, that was for the best.

I peeked into the bar, and it looked like 100% Tulane fans. I wish I could have been there when Jesse returned the kick. I would have stood in the middle of the room and yelled "Whoooo!" deliberately, over and over like Ric Flair.

Perhaps other Mustang fans were trying to kill me! They were buying 'em after SMU TD or FG!

Great to meet you, too, couch 'em! Same to bagice! And the guy sitting next to me at the bar...I think your name was Jerry...good to meet you, too! And thanks for the drinks!

On to El Paso! Perhaps Kiki will make a half-time appearance in the Sun Bowl!
