Considering the access to the Boulevard closes three hours before the game

this is incorrect - the BLVD is NOT OPEN at all for loading or unloading on game days - there is no "3 hours before gametime" window or anything reasonable like that - that would make sense, remember, this is SMU here...

[quote="J.T.supporta"]Thats what I thought, this school is totally stupid and does not care about their Athletics Department.

Someday, SMU, the Administration and the Faculty, will "see the light" and realize that if they would all work together with the Athletic Department, ALL would benefit. It's like they have blinders on and do not realize what a benefit it is to other schools to have a strong athletic department. It ripples throughout the campus . . . UGH ! ! ! ! I just don't get it.

WHY allow a home game to be played "on a school day", if the school is not going to make sanctions and be supportive of it ! ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

by the way...the note about drop-offs was just added - it was not there in the past years, nor was it there at the beginning of the season.

nothing like keeping people informed in a timely manner (halfway thru the season)...

I checked this site . . . as instructed . . . look what else it says . . .

The Boulevard will be open most of the day on gameday so come early and come often for the greatest tailgating atmosphere in the southwest

hmmmm . . . is 3:30 on considered "most of the day" ??????????

From an Administration point of view I am sure that is considered too much of the day!!!

and i can remember dropping of and packing things up for tailgating last year . . . haven't had the opportunity yet this year . . .but what kind of crap is that . . .no drop off/pick up on blvd? how do you get your stuff to the tailgating?

wasn't there a time when we just parked on the BLVD and tailgated . . .on our tailgates???
Sports, and all that implies.
