Yeah JT, I heard that, too. Ok, ok.
My name is really Jack Nicholson.

Phil was great. Agree or disagree with the current situation, it was good to SMU portrayed as a school doing it the right way.

How about a world where I can buy a ticket and yell at the Head Coach about the stupidity of the swinging gate?

Still want to know why this is the right way. This whole process is so un-American it makes me sick. This is a he said/he said situation where no charges have been filed and no trial or presentation of all the evidence has even been attempted. Instead a knee jerk reaction was made, Willis has been suspended, and the team has suffered. Not sure how this is the right way. I work of the theory that everyone is presumed innocent first and until I have compelling evidence that Willis was in the wrong then I assume he did nothing wrong.

I think the initial suspension was justied since I believe there is no dispute that an assault took place and the police were investigating filing criminal charges. I don't think SMU should play players who are immediately under suspicion of imminent criminal charges being filed. Today those charges still haven't been filed and unless there are indications that they will be or there are aggravating circumstances which I am unaware of-I think he should play at least until they are filed.

Still listening to Norm- and he is obviously uninformed.
He's giving credit to PB for making this decision. C'mon, this was NEVER PB's decision.

Ask? You must not listen to the ticket much. Callers are few and far between. I think they took one call in the last hour.

Stallion - I agree completely.. however, the problem is partly that he hit another STUDENT.. and therefore also partly because the university itself has to get involved.. which therein lies another problem: this academia of this university love to supercede the Athletics Dept. and that's why we're here today, still waiting.
Fall break may have had a small part in this.. since 2 students have to sit on this "board" of theirs.. but if they really wanted to get it resolved, I'm sure they could have attempted to be a little more resourceful.

I agree with Stallion. At this point, they need to let him play if the situation is still so nebulous.

Did PB mention that he/we are scratchin' clawin' bitin' and kickin'? Then again, maybe Willis took that in a literal sense...
