Now, one could argue about his celebrity status - more like meteoric fall from grace, but why can't we get some people like that on our sidelines ever. Secondly, does anyone know of any connection between Carpenter and Marshall? My buddies and I couldn't come up with one.
I am guessing you are refering to the hockey player "can't miss" prospect Bobby Carpenter... not the current rookie LB for the Cowboys, right?
Did you know - (hockey) Bobby Carpenter was the first American born player to be drafted directly out of high school?
So, uh, no..... I have no idea why either Bobby Carpenter would be on the sidelines. But seeing as you say "meteoric fall from grace", it has to be the hockey dude. Don't know how the heck he would end up on the Marshall sidelines in Dallas Texas. Weird.
