I don't think they'd care about 1 class.. I'm sure many of them would rather be there too.. or at home on Halloween night with their kids.

The only real problem with missing those Tuesday night classes is that they only meet one time per week for three hours... I know all of my friends are planning on taking the hit and going to Ford... I'm skipping my 3:30 to start the pre-game festivities

Its not going to make that big of a difference. The students dont have class on Saturday and they still dont come. If you let them out Tuesday night, Im sure that they will find a drink special somewhere. Probably at their sacred green elephant.

Forget Tuesday--cancelling Wednesday morning classes would be a far more meaningful thing to do.

Yeah same bar owner both places.... he just "re-christened" the Home Bar as the Green Elephant. Not the same... but the regulars are still there... and I'm not talking about students. I'm talking about those folks who work near by and drink away there afternoons and evenings.

The "New" Green Elephant is as much the "Green Elephant" as Roger Moore was the new James Bond after Sean Connery.

Right now - overheard on the SMU campus -
"Who is Phil Bennett?" "Can he take this test for me?"
