That is my point. This most recent class is their worst ranked in the past 5 seasons and it was still ranked #14 in the country. Their previous four classes were ranked #5,4,7,8 respectively. So when people say Miami sucks I don't really buy it (although they are addmittedly not what they usually are).

On the note of JJ, for anyone that watched the Miami/UH game earlier this year, he made the UH linebackers seem as if they were running with concrete blocks on their feet. Note: UH does have the fastest team we have faced all season in my opinion. On offense Anthony Alridge, Donnie Avery, and Vincent Marshall are all absolute burners and Jarron Harvey at WR is not exactly slow consiodering he is prolly 6'5. I am hoping we will be able to keep up with their team speed.

The important speed figure will be the time it takes for Haywoood, Bonds, Muse and Rogers to get from their position to Kolb. Fast there negates all the speed in the world from the receivers.

Keep thinking that. Cause our halfback is real slow.

I don't believe that I or anyone else said that Miami sucks. In fact, you and I seem to agree that Miami is not what it usually is, and I added the further point that Miami (primarily because they are undisciplined) plays with differing enthusiasm for a Duke or Houston than they do a Florida State.

My point was simply that no one should be quaking in their boots because Houston stayed close to Miami this year.

Actually, we were Miami's first game after they lost to Louisville. They came to play. We had a crucial dropped pass and a fumble that cost us two TDs and the game. Miami played Duke with 15 players suspended.

Why in the world would you presume that following Louisville on Miami's schedule would cause them to get UP for you?

Well doogie,
1. they had two weeks to stew on it.
2. I was at the game and you could feel their intensity

Oh jesus...The U looked at playing UH as a joke. It was splashed all over their boards, even had some players come on talking crap about UH and how it will be nice to get a win. It nearly cost them, but no they didn't get anymore up for UH than they did for Duke.

Here is a good preview:

Houston is better than SMU at every position.

Deal with it.

Instead of posting on a board, perhaps you should be practicing the line "Sir, do you want fries with that." Wouldn't want another UH taking your job because he is better qualified.

And perhaps you should brush up on your grammar skills before denigrating another's education.
