given SWA's proximity to campus, they are already the semi-official travel partner of the Ponies.
New marketing slogan: Show some Luv them Ponies!

Just got an e-mail from a friend who used to work for Sweet, and described him this way: "super sharp and passionate about the Ponies."
Sounds like a good start.

Hope he sells the Boulevard to young alumni like Southwest sells Love Field to businessmen because that's the answer.

He should pass out SWA free drink coupon books inside the stadium and see if that helps get people inside.

I want some of the hot SWA flight attendants to come over and spread the SMU cheer.
They would be another "hub" of SMU spirit!

You're too young. I remember hot pants and go-go boots a few years back.

I agree with both statements. When SW was born they were the hottest things in town. And they liked to party. Hot pants were the rage. Now however, and I fly SW to every home game, I am sad to say that the flight attendants are still the same ladies originally hired. At least they have longevity.

Another point of interest:
A lot of folks talk about having people in office who are SMU people, who care about SMU (rather than just the bottom line).
What does it say about this guy that he was a member of a team (track) that was dropped, and he's still "passionate about the Ponies"?

Oh just realized I know this guy from his days at SMU. Twin ran on the track team.
