Why run a play that ever takes you out of FG range? (were on 26, then on 30)

Why not attempt the 50 yard FG rather than 4th and 11? Same result if you miss or incomplete...at least try to tie it.

10 seconds to go...run your team out there and spike the ball? WHAT? Why not just run your play.... that 1-2 seconds they lost was the difference in at least having a chance at a second pass play (so they could have passed it up 15-20 yards or so, then ran up and ran one more play to the end zone).

went to the game and thought it was a pretty good game day atmosphere............both teams had a ton of fans there....came back to watch fourth quarter on tv and it was completely different........guess you had to be there....Auburn girls were pretty solid.............

haha yes, the girls were solid and the atomsphere was great. It was my first official Cotton Bowl game (SMU games not included)...great fans, great game, great day for college football.
