This does not answer your question but I do remember a graphic from the bowl game that showed 43 of their players from California. They do play some pretty good FB out there and there are several JCs I believe.[/quote]...........................Know question California produces alot of Division 1 players and alot of their Rival 2 star recruits seem to pan out. Certainly Boise State, with excellent coaching, has done great with California 2 star recruits along with Fresno State etc.. I can only remember a couple of JUCO players we took from California recently being Jerad Romo (1st team QB 2005) and Troy Therien ( 2nd team DE 2006). Both turned out as good players. Recruits from California seem to like SMU and I don't remember recently any recruits from there who signed with SMU who transfered out. So it would not hurt to do a little more recruiting out there and try to find a few kids each year who can contribute.

I have to agree a little bit with Stallion (oh my gosh did I just admit that???). You would think that our success this year and how close we were to a bowl game we would get more 3 stars at least. However, I am giving the benefit of the doubt to Coach. Maybe, he has some silent committments...???

We always hear of these "silent committments", but unless we are recruiting the School for the Deaf, I would not count on it.
