I hope you're right, because I think Nixon can play, but he's an insurance policy only. Wallis took almost all of the snaps Bartel didn't get in practice, and everyone says the freshmen are going to get a chance to compete. Given that Nixon played receiver last year, I would find it very odd if he ever got on the field as a QB this year. He might get a better look next year.
