Warriors in 6.
yah that was a punk move by terry, but eventually you have to say im not going to take this crap anymore. they have been pulling tons of cheap shots on the mavs, and it was time for someone to stand up... fines are sure to come out of this oneMustangIcon wrote:As opposed to all the "classy" Mavs like Jason Terry (who time and time again has proven what a punk he is)? I have some not so breaking news for everyone, the NBA in general has a bunch of thugs. It would be refreshing for everyone in that series, and the league for that matter, to carry themselves a little more like Avery Johnson did as a player and does as a coach. He has a passion and strong drive to excel at the game but without showing up or disrespecting his opponent. Always been a big fan of Avery.expony18 wrote:the warriors are a bunch of thugs....
You should root for the Spurs in the Conference Finals too. Only way a Lonestar Showdown is going to happen is if the Rockets continue winning. Mavs will lose in 6.ThadFilms wrote:I guess I am going to have to actually root for the Spurs up until the Western Conference Finals. Actually, "root" is a strong word. I want them to get there anyhow. A Lonestar Showdown in the Conference Finals.
I actually wouldn't be surprised if there was a suspension. That move was worse than the crotch shot that Terry gave Finley, and they gave him a suspension for that.expony18 wrote:yah that was a punk move by terry, but eventually you have to say im not going to take this crap anymore. they have been pulling tons of cheap shots on the mavs, and it was time for someone to stand up... fines are sure to come out of this one

I was thinking more along the lines of 62-7 vs TCU in 2000 and 24-6 vs UNT last year. Two major kicks to the cojones.RGV Pony wrote:anyone remember 44-0 at TCU? 42-0 at Fresno State?
I re-lived them both tonight.
Way to go, Mavs.
