"Then in the Arctic half-light of the canyon, all existence fades to a being with my soul and memories and the sounds of the Big Blackfoot River and a four-count rhythm and the hope that a fish will rise."

Man, I'd be pulling so hard for SMU against either UT or ATM. I don't understand how a fan of either TCU or SMU could pull for one of the big state schools, even when they're playing TCU/SMU.
As much as we may not like it, mix red and blue and you get purple. To hell with the burnt orange goons. Go froggies...beat Texas. We will deal with TCU ourselves.
Amen - preach on, PK. I absolutely can't stand Froggy High, but I'll be pulling for the little Froggies in a big way that day. How humbling will it be for Entitlement U down there in Austin when they get beat by some little private school up north .... and then that little private school loses (at home, no less) to SMU a couple of weeks later! As much as I'd enjoy seeing Froggy High lose to us, I'd enjoy the humiliation down I-35 almost as much.
Go Frogs (sorry - got to go wipe some puke off the front of my shirt). Beat the hell out of UT.
As much as I loathe both tu and tcu, I could never cheer on tcu. I guess I can only hope for them not to loose as badly as I would like them to. And to texas, maybe a few key injuries (or arrest) that will take them down a peg or two for the season. Go Stangs.

For those wanting to root against the Frogs, remember that any TCU success only motivates SMU deep pockets and brass to invest more. "If they can do it, so can we" kind of thing.

Unfortunately, this has not been the case given the exact opposite in program directions since TCU's 1-10 season. For some reason, our administration refuses to follow the TCU model for football success.
