Best of luck to your family and your dad. Cousin had a triple two years ago and recovered suprisingly quickly.

Hang in there â€" we're all thinking about your dad and pulling for him. For what it's worth, my dad had the same thing, and I think the fear involved can make it harder on the family sometimes. All the best to your dad.

He'll be fine, after all, he's a Matula. I fully expect him to get out of surgery and make a joke about the hospital food.
Best of luck to your dad and the fam. I know everything will be just fine. And now your dad will have more energy to talk to me incessantly about things I have absolutely no interest in or any idea about. But I love him for that.

Thad, our prayers are with your family. I went to SMU with your brother and was fortunate to meet your pops once or twice. Here's hoping this surgery leaves him stronger than ever!

Good luck. I think I had one of his classes for a day and then I dropped it, he seemed like a nice guy though.

Just got word that the surgery has now been deemed to be a quintuple bypass instead of triple. Please keep Mr. Matula, Thad and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
