we could use a few kids on D that are intense enough to merit a restraining order
“When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.”- Jalen Jones
"Then in the Arctic half-light of the canyon, all existence fades to a being with my soul and memories and the sounds of the Big Blackfoot River and a four-count rhythm and the hope that a fish will rise."
Talked to someone who knows the guy. Said he's trying to get to 265 by the time he enrolls at SMU, with the intention of playing DE. He's extraordinarily strong and quick - saw him play in HS, and saw him play for OSU. Hope the new coaching staff honors the offer to keep him.
Poor Phil Bennett-finally lines up a Big Time Division 1A BCS Transfer-and he's gone before I can congratulate him. These are the types of kids who have been difference makers at UTEP, Houston, Tulsa, TCU et al. If true this immediately makes us a better team in 2008.

So I don't need to go spend time looking for something you probably already know, will he be able to play right away?
