re: Why would you lock down the showplace for your school's athletic accomplishments when it is (finally) right there in your new stadium???
Agreed, this is a very nice addition to our program and the vast majority of visitors only visit the stadium on game days. Hopefully whatever the minor logistic problems are, they can be worked out so that we don't lock down Heritage Hall on game days. There are only six home games a year and Heritage Hall needs to be open on those six days.

I was told on game day people with media and/or other types of passes could get in
I cut through that hallway outside Heritage Hall, where the glass doors are that go down to the weight room and up to .... whatever's at the top of the stairs. Someone in yellow jumped up and asked what I was doing, and I said I was trying to get 2 seconds of air conditioning. Based on the look I got, you would have thought I was trying to steal something. They couldn't usher me out of there fast enough.

Up those stairs are the Athletic Marketing Offices (recently re-located from Moody Coliseum), the Football offices, the non-revenue sports offices, the video department and an alternate entrance to the skybox suites.Pony4Life wrote:I cut through that hallway outside Heritage Hall, where the glass doors are that go down to the weight room and up to .... whatever's at the top of the stairs.
