Um, yeah, OK, we get it that you're hot for Jamell, but Justin Willis is not the problem. That dude played his [deleted] off, and continues to keep us in games when one aspect of the team or another goes on hiatus. We all hope your man is a great wide receiver, because that's the position he was recruited to play and that's the position he will play. Playing QB in college requires a lot more than just quick feet. I'm sure he's a great athlete, and I look forward to seeing him catch a lot of passes.

he's not playing QB for SMU-he's a receiver. As a matter of fact, he hasn't played QB since he was District MVP for Gilmer as a Junior. Then G.J. Kinne transferred in and he was moved to receiver

i know he did but it sucked but he had a messed up shoulder since freshman year and the coach finally took him surgery junior year and g.j moved him even though jamell was healed the coaches didnt give him a chance to win his position back there were alot of conspiracy going on

I have seen the tape on Jamell on Rivals and he really is special. Is he ANOTHER freshman that has had his redshirt wasted this year? I hope not. Its best that he gets used to school his freshman year, MAKE HIS GRADES, and have a chance to adjust to college life. Having an extra year will only benefit him later on.

Congratulations on your engagement. I concur with the sentiment that you wait until he graduates and gets a real job before tying the knot. He needs to concentrate on graduating with good grades and a WORTHWHILE degree such as accounting, finance, engineering, etc. that will help him succeed later on in life. Fortunately SMU offers these degrees undergraduate. Some other private schools like most of the Ivy League, Vanderbilt, etc. don't. They believe that everyone should have a liberal arts degree first and then specialize by getting those degrees in graduate school. That is very idealistic, but for a lot of students, is not very practical.
