I'll be there and I'm actually bringing two non-SMU non-Tulane guests. And I'll stay to the bitter end. I hope the guys around me who always bring the airplane-sized adult beverage bottles (and somehow sneak those through the yellow shirts) will be kind enough to share some with the fans in their immediate vicinity.

I'll be interested to see what the Boulevard attendance will be like this week. Any of those $480 spots going to go unused this week?

Regis and Company will hit the Boulevard no later than 10:00. Tents, chairs and satellite should be up and operational about 10:15. First beer will be cracked open by 10:16.

No doubt we will be the first ones there for the fourth consecutive home game.

How do the STUDENTS playing the game do it?

I expect a small contingent of NOLA fans on the visitor side, but besides the band and the student section, it will be graveyard-like.

Maybe run a promotion for free tix for any relocated Katrina victims?

We need more players who happen to be students.....not STUDENTS who happen to be players!!!

Free tuition, books, room, and board?

I wish watching this "football" would erase my student loans.

WOW!!!!!

Nine hours before kick-off. I guess we won't see you at the game and we will try to step over your passed out lifeless bodies on our way to Ford.

I shall arrive after my son's football is over. Probably around 3:30 to 4pm. Of course, I may have to arrive a little earlier than normal to find my spot on the BLVD since it has a tendancy to move around and nobody from SMU bothers to tell you that until you wonder around for 15 minutes wondering where they put you this week.

the close, intense rivalries in CUSA West will reinvigorate SMU attendance. So much for that theory. If there are 12,000 people including players, coaches, officials and Peruna at the game Saturday I'll be surprised.

No way we have 12,000 unless we have increased the band to 9999 guys and a doll.

But I will be there. :P

I think you meant to say, besides the band. There will be few, if any, students in attendance that are not required to be there as part of an organizational commitment.

Yeah, sorry, the 50-strong student section before half.

I'll be there along with about 4-5 others in my row. As for everything that's surrounding the program with attendance, play calling, Willis, it's all irrelevant right now.

We're just playing out the string and getting ready to replace the coaching staff.

I'll be there with my parents.....we are going, although I have zero expectations of victory or an exciting game atmosphere. I fully expect about 10,000-12,000 people (if lucky) at the game.

We are only going b/c my parents haven't been to a game yet this year (no tailgating this year - thanks SMU!), and b/c they wanted a nice quiet place where we could talk and catch up. Seriously. I'm not joking.
