Wasn't he a tight end? If so, I guess it was because his brother beat him out at QB.

had no chance at TE-because of the presence of a well known Ponyfan. We were pretty strong at TE during those years with guys like Robert Fisher and later Ricky Bolden. Today he might make a decent H-Back because he was probably a tad too big for FB and a tad too small for full time TE.
